System for Free Space MIMO Channel Measurement

    Abstract:

    In this paper, we describe the status of research of MIMO wireless channel. MIMO channel modelings on stage were analyzed and compared. We propose MIMO channel real time measurement system within free space, which uses the USRP platform and can real-time measure the communication channel transmission performance, doing simultaneously channel data storage analysis. The cost of the system is low. The paper provides the basis for real MIMO channel research.
