In order to improve the response speed and efficiency of meteorological environment monitoring system, and meet the requirements of getting meteorological information in real time and accuratly for the monitoring center, an embedded web server based on GoAhead and Ajax (asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is designed. In this system, environmental data is dynamicly updated by using CGI(Common Gateway Interface). The system has the advantages of simple operation, stable running, rapid respondence and long distance monitoring, which is helpful for management to know the temperature, humidity, wind direction and other information of the observation posts.
