SMS (Short Message Service) is an important function of cross-platform collaborative system. Though JAVA provides a good compatibility support for cross-platform, there exists some problems in low-level language implementation of JAVA call in different platforms. This paper discusses the physical GSM MODEM operations and controls by calling SMSLIB, the parameter configurations. The transplantation of SMSLIB embedded system is analyzed and a solution is given.
