The design of Communication Module for intelligent circuit breaker based on the Modbus protocol is introduced according to the technical demands of intelligent low voltage circuit breaker with communication capability. The form of networking and mechanisms of Modbus communication，as well as Modbus protocol stack software implementation are expounded. The power circuit and RS485 interface circuit are also presented. The module is effective to achieve the centralized monitoring and long-distance communications.
