This paper makes HDLC device use into a virtual net device in Linux, uses the configuration of bridge in Linux to design for interconnection between HDLC protocol and ethernet. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the design main points of virtual net device driver and configuration of bridge technology, which provides a scheme for communications equipment between different medias to actualize net bridge function in embedded Linux.
