As the Web continues to grow, it has become increasingly obvious that information overload, low-efficiency using traditional search engines. In this paper, after researching the index sort algorithm applied in the Lucene.Net and considering the requirement from the end-users, we present an approach to address this issue. The experimental results showed that the proposed approach is practical.
