In reviewing the development and drawbacks of surveillance camera technology at home and abroad, this paper first introduces the intelligent camera's functional structure and hardware needs. Then, key technologies and solutions such as embedded processor, video analysis, video compression and network communication are analyzed. Finally, the development trend and the application perspective of intelligent camera are prospected.
